Connect to Nature
It is becoming common knowledge how important connecting to nature is for wellbeing. We all know that we feel better getting out in nature, breathing fresh air, noticing the beauty around us, and finding peace.
However, more research is showing that connecting to nature is important for lots of other reasons, particularly if we want to make our planet a better place. In order to fix the climate crisis and the biodiversity crisis, we need people to feel so connected to nature, that they feel a part of nature. To do this we need to take time to pause and engage our senses and emotions when in nature, find beauty in our surroundings and make meaning from it. Hopefully, this will lead to people feeling compassion for nature, and taking action to help it.

We have read some of Professor Richardson’s research and looked at his resources, then put our KGT spin on them to create the resource below. We hope it helps you to find a deeper connection with nature.
