Our Community Partners are local organisations who provide ongoing support to Kids Greening Taupō.

  • Greening Taupo is an opportunity for Taupo residents and businesses to participate in a community conservation initiative. Building healthy neighbourhoods by increasing the greenery and promoting green urban development is good for people, business and the environment.

  • Inspiring New Zealanders and international visitors to connect physically, emotionally and spiritually with Tongariro National Park and its surrounds.

  • A coordinated community based trapping program will enhance the environment so birds can thrive.

    Predator Free Taupo aims to help our community free the Taupo district of New Zealand’s most damaging introduced predators by 2050.

  • The Taupo District is an extraordinary place to live, work and raise a family. We are the custodians of this land and like generations before us who raised families and dedicated their lives to making this place what it is today, we take responsibility for steering the way forward for future generations.

  • Our vision means ensuring we gain a wide range of benefits from healthy functioning ecosystems, recreation opportunities, and through living our history. We run programmes to protect and restore our species, places and heritage, and provide opportunities for people to engage with these treasures..

Through the collaboration the members learn from, support, and build on each others' success, together providing better environmental education for students of all ages across the Taupo District.
