The Official Kids Greening Taupo Launch

The Kids Greening Taupo student leadership team is launching their new Conservation Education programme.

The programme will be launched at a special event at Spa Thermal Park, County Avenue, Taupo on Thursday September 24, 2015 from 10am until 1pm.

A formal powhiri will start the event when Kids Greening Taupo will officially welcome guests at 10am.

The official launch will be followed by demonstrations of elements of Kids Greening Taupo including Bush Kindergarten, potting and propagation, trapping and tracking and student leadership.

Access to the launch area:

Parking will be available at the end of County Avenue. The launch will be taking place on the peninsula overlooking Otumuheke Stream, (Hot Water Stream). Follow the paved pathway from the County Avenue car park. Look out for marquees, banners and fun.
