Green Teas Talk - Conservation Week
Our coordinator, Rachel, enjoyed talking about the KGT programme at Wairakei Golf + Sanctuary for their Conservation Week speaking event. It was fantastic to have one of our student leaders from Taupo Intermediate School, Hana, present her speech about backyard trapping too. She spoke confidently and even managed to convince a few people to buy a trap from Predator Free Taupo! We loved hearing about the wallaby programme from Waikato Regional Council and about the wonderful work that Sanctuary Mountain Maungatautari do too. What a fantastic event!
