Taupō Children’s Corner Restoration Project

Taupo Children's Corner had a lovely whānau planting event today. Their tamariki came along with their whānau to help create native gardens around their new outdoor area. 60 native plants were put in the ground to help improve the biodiversity at the centre. Hopefully, the native birds, bugs and lizards will love the space as much as the children do! Thanks so much to the Contact Energy Take Action Fund and to the The Possum for providing the funding for this project.
