Our 2020 Kids Greening Taupo Student Leadership Team had their first on the ground meeting (In-person Meeting) last night! It was awesome to met everyone in person finally after our 12 meetings on Zoom. Our Student Leadership team got involved in team-building activities and a great discussion with local expect Andrew Moore from Taupo District Council about our upcoming SLT planting Day on August 8th.

A massive thank you to all of our sponsors! Our student leaders were very lucky to receive these wonderful welcome packs of goodies. They loved the bags from Boomerang Bags Taupo (made from recycled ANZAC day flags), bamboo toothbrushes from Bin Inn Taupo, deliciously scented handmade soap bars from Soulful Skinfood, beeswax wraps from Broomes Bee Wraps, trivia playing cards from DOC and much more. Hi, I’m Kim and I work with a great team to help individuals, as well as small and not so small businesses get their message, product and services to the world using digital media and creating wonderful websites that don’t cost the earth.

I was born in Canada, and grew up around Vancouver and the mountains of British Columbia. My love of pristine environments led me to New Zealand and eventually to the mountains, lakes and rivers of the central North Island which is home. My family’s heritage is here, and it’s from here that Korio traverses the planet.
